Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,

We are in a season of new beginnings, but as the year drags on, sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. Sometimes, you can be so engulfed in the throes of life and just trying to make things work to function, that the idea of the Lord offering you a fresh start or a new beginning is foreign.

I do know how this feels, but God’s mercies are new every morning as it says in Lamentations 3:23. Knowing this is something to hold on to without fail, no matter what comes your way. Whatever tries to knock you out, hang on to the fact that God’s offering you a new start every day.

Trust me, I’m writing this as much to myself as I write to you, because we all need this reminder as the fist of life can pound really hard. When things get rough, run to God, ask him to show you his love, and go from there.

You can also call on Him to be a refuge a shelter from the things you are dealing with.

So, ask God for that fresh start and new beginning and trust him to be faithful to come through.
