Dorenthea is an overcomer and inspiring Christian woman, wife, Mom, powerhouse worship leader, speaker and author who empowers women to move past their pain into purpose and to pick their dreams back up again following life’s disappointments. In our conversation, she shares her God story of perseverance and triumphs having experienced her own pain when her husband went to prison for 12 years in May 2000, leaving her to care for her two and four-year-olds alone. Dorenthea also shares ministering words through song and scripture to encourage other women who may be struggling due to unanticipated painful life circumstances.

Dorenthea is an author and women’s conference speaker. She loves to empower women to walk into their “next”, which happens to be the title of one of her books, Next: Four Steps to Get Unstuck and Walk Into Purpose. Dorenthea is a wife and mother and knows the demands that come along with that, along with having a career and a business. She empowers women by pointing them to the joy of walking in their purpose and pursuing their dreams that may have been at one point, forgotten.
