John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,

In this season of thankfulness, we enter into a time of year where turkey, football and gathering around the table for a big meal are traditions we celebrate each year.

Yes, I’m talking about Thanksgiving.

King David declares in Psalm 100:4, “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name” (NLT). Is this exhortation something easy if you are going through a difficult time?

Maybe not, but we have so much to be thankful for in our lives. We woke up this morning, we are saved, we have the opportunity to pray to God, who aways hears us. We can also spend time reading His Word accessed at our fingertips, worship God freely, and when we die, we enter into His glorious heaven.

While you are consuming food on the Thanksgiving table, spending time with your family and friends, or watching the big games, remember to take a moment to thank God for all the good things in your life.

God bless,
Teresa
