I love this picture! It was shared on www.onlythebible.com along with a poem by Rebekah Robinson. The poem is about God’s love for all of us. In the Bible, there are many inspiring verses in the Old and New Testament about God’s love that have given me hope and encouragement. One of my favorite verses is Psalm 86:15. “But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.” (NIV)
I often forget about God’s love, which is why I have to read the Bible daily. There are times I find myself doubting his love in my life, but as this picture shows, God’s love surrounds us. God loves each of us more than we could ever imagine. We never have to work for his love as he gives it to us freely. What a gift!
So today, if you are doubting God’s love take a minute to reflect on the scripture I’ve shared about God’s love and this picture. Ask God to reveal his love to you and how you can best reflect or share his love with others.
