Hello, Altered Stories Family,
As we approach the end of July and will be entering a new August month, I’ve been giving thought to what we absorb into our lives. Many times, what we listen to is wrapped up in pretty packaging, but up to no good.
Ephesians 4:14 (NIV) cautions us to not be “…tossed back and forth by the waves and blown here and there by every wind of teaching…” We need to know what God’s word says and not be turned aside by other ideas in the world.
The Bible has the final say on everything when it comes to life and faith.
Yes, there are those individuals who search for worldly wisdom and knowledge by people who do not seek after the truth but offer up lies instead.
These messages of lies can come to you through many mediums: the games you play, the music or podcasts you listen to, the shows or movies you watch, the books you read, and so forth.
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) tells us to “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” We must remember this.
