Bio

Michele Vrabel is the author of Butterfly Stitches: The Metamorphosis of Healing and Outloud: The Sound of Healing, two powerful memoirs chronicling her journey of healing through emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical restoration. With unflinching honesty and deep faith, Michele invites readers to witness how Jesus met her in the rawest places of her story—transforming wounds into sacred testimonies of grace.

When she’s not writing, Michele serves others through her work as a bookkeeper, offering clarity and order to businesses and ministries alike. She also hosts a soul-nourishing podcast, where she speaks candidly about healing, identity, and what it means to live authentically in God’s truth.

Whether on the page, behind the mic, or in everyday spreadsheets, Michele’s calling is the same: to help others find freedom in the places they’ve been silenced, and to remind them that healing is not only possible—it’s holy.

In this Episode:

  • Michele is the author of two books. She also serves others through her bookkeeping services and hosts a soul-nourishing podcast.
  • She chose Outloud because that outloud moment of first sharing her story was one of the biggest moments in her healing journey.
  • Michele shares her “Holy Spirit Triage” God story.
  • She did need to understand where she was in her healing journey and where her wounds are, or I can’t go forward. You have to do a prayerful triage.
  • Not everybody is the same. Not everybody’s wounds are the same. Not everybody’s treatment or healing journey is going to be the same, but there are definitely things about healing mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually that people can take from what I have written.
  • Physical detoxing isn’t only about what we eat or drink. It is about what we are watching and hearing.
  • The Holy Spirit is the one who gives us the wisdom and understanding of how beautifully we are created.
  • We were not meant to hear every single thing that is happening everywhere.  We were designed in community.
  • Prayer is the greatest thing we can do.
  • No one is ever too far gone. No wound is too deep for God.
