In this Episode:

  • Pamela Good is the author of “He Never Let Go” and has a diverse professional background, including roles as a fitness trainer, correctional officer, and certified surgical technologist.
  • She had to explain what she went through to explain where God was in it and where He brought her through. Sharing stories helps others feel comfortable and realize they may be able to let go of their hurt.
  • Pamela shares her “From Paralyzing Strongholds to Thriving in Jesus” God story.
  • A little girl across the street took her to Sunday school, and that is where Pamela met Jesus. Her teacher gave her a Bible.
  • Her mom was eventually taken away from the home due to violence. In middle school, she threw herself into sports. She didn’t have any support, so she shoved it down, did life, and did the best she could to stay away from home.
  • In adulthood, her strongholds told her she wasn’t good enough or worthy. Then, when he Father passed away, she started spiraling. She went to a deep place, and she wanted God to take her home.
  • Jesus will hold you and help you up. She had tried everything on her own. She realized Jesus was what was left.  She had to admit to herself she was broken first, and then she had to learn why she was broken. Then she had to learn about the strongholds that kept her down for years.
  • Find someone you feel comfortable with that you can talk to. Jesus is waiting the whole time. He is there. You have to be intentional. God isn’t going to do everything for you.
