John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,

We are about to celebrate Veterans Day, and I wanted to say to everyone who took up the mantal of the uniform of the armed services, thank you. You chose to stand in the gap when few would.

I always make a point to say thank you to everyone I meet who has served or is serving in the military. My mom was an 82 airborne and was the only woman to go to Granada, so to say I have a love for those who serve is an understatement.

In the Bible, we read about war. In the Psalms, it says teach my hands to conduct war, and we read of David that he was a man of war. God himself is described as a warrior, fighting against all his enemies.

We are also told that we are fighting in a spiritual war.

So, whether you served as a vet in our military or are called up to serve on the front lines in the spiritual war we find ourselves in, I challenge you to enlist in the army of God,

And take up his armor which is found in Ephesians chapter 6.

I hope this helps and to every vet who might be reading this, thank you again for your service.

God bless,

Teresa
