Valarie Rocha’s passion and pursuit in prayer has been her lifeline for decades. So much so, that her friends call the manifestation of her answered prayers, “Valarie blessings”. This passionate pursuit has transitioned into a deep desire to intercede on behalf of the people of God, and to teach others how to effectively approach the Father and build an intimate relationship with Him in prayer. When Valarie is not engaged in prayer and intercession, she spends her spare time on hobbies that include gardening, painting with acrylics and cooking Mexican cuisine for her husband, daughter and son-in-law.
In this Episode:
- Valerie is an author, prayer intercessor, and has been walking with Jesus since the age of 13, and has a wealth of guidance and wisdom to offer all who connect with her.
- Her first book deals with relationship building, what the various aspects of relationships look like as a believer, and the various forms of God. The Bible study guide is a deeper dive.
- Valerie shares her “Still Kneeling on the Throne” God story, part two.
- One of the challenges we have when we are deciphering the Bible is putting it in today’s time, but the Bible isn’t in today’s time. It is written in the history of the Israelites, but the principles still apply.
- Although I asked God for other people to be healed and delivered, he was gracious and kind to include me in that as well, because I began to see God in some different ways that I had not seen or thought of Him. Those views and perspectives are what caused me to have a deeper appreciation and reverence for him.
- In order for you to get the most out of the Word and be the best believer you can, you have to get to know the person who wrote the book.God welcomes the conversation because He wants to reveal who He is to us.
- God doesn’t want us to have good. He wants us to have the best, but in order to have the best, you have to do the work.
- We often go to God, and we tell him all the stuff, but it is only a conversation if both people are talking.
- It doesn’t matter what we go through. God wants a relationship with us.
- Whatever it is that you are struggling with, you don’t have to do this by yourself.

It is written in the history of the Israelites, but the principles still apply. If you understand the application behind the words in the original context, it gives scripture reading a different meaning, but it also gives you more power to apply it to your everyday life.” – Valerie Rocha
- “When you are sensitive to those cues, then you can have a deeper revelation of what it is that the Scripture is saying, what it is the Holy Spirit is saying, and ultimately what it is that God wants you to do.” – Valerie Rocha
