Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read my blog that I have agreed to write for Altered Stories Ministry. My hope and prayer, as we get to know each other, is that I can be an encouragement to you on the path you are walking with the Lord. If you don’t know Him, my prayer is that I can help you with that introduction.
A little bit about me: My name is Teresa Blaes. I am an author, blogger, podcaster and entrepreneur at heart. I have been following the Lord since I was a teenager and I am now 36 years old.
I am married and have a special needs daughter. At this point in my life I am completely blind.
I am honored to be a guest on www.alteredstories.org Podcast Episode 9, where I share my God story.
Why have I chosen to blog for Altered Stories Ministry? Because there is so much to say, so much that needs to be dealt with, and so many women that need encouragement that don’t have it.
I truly believe one voice can make a difference, and in a world of sickness, division and pain I want to offer a small bit of hope in these dark days.
The Lord says in Isaiah 6:1, “Who will go for us, who shall we send?” Isaiah answered the call, but I believe that question still echoes down the hall of eternity. Who will go when the Lord asks? Who will step up to the plate and be our Lord’s hands and feet to the wounded and hurting?
My prayer is that if you are the one sitting in darkness, I can bring just a little bit of hope to you. If you have overcome the darkness, but need help to encourage others, I hope to have something for you as well.
The Lord loves each and every person who is reading this, yes, that includes you! He is known as the Lover of our Soul. I can’t wait to see what victories He gives and what He does as we get to know each other.
