Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,

As I write, we have finished the first day of an online conference. One of the big things that resonated with me, I want to talk about now.

The speaker Pedro Adao spoke about what he calls a redemptive reset.

The idea is similar to when you might reset your phone. You have the basic stuff. You don’t have your apps or your information, but you have the basics that come on the phone.

In the same way, sometimes what you need is a reset. To do that you take everything you have done up to this point, and go back to the basics, of what has God called you to do.

Now let me tell you, this was exactly what I needed to hear. If I’m being honest for a moment, this year to this point has been a nightmare. I’ve dealt with a lot of death, from friends to our pastor. There has been a lot of family drama, and the enemy has hit me in many areas.

Yet God is still on the throne, he still is King, and he has the power to redeem any situation.

I am reminded of a Jeremy Camp song that says, “The same power that rose Jesus from the grave, the same power that commands the dead to wake lives in us.”

This is such a breath of fresh air. It is so relieving to know that that same power is ours to access. No matter what we are facing, we have the power of all mighty God living inside of us.

I don’t know where you are at as you read this. Maybe like me, you need a reset, a fresh start, the Bible says that God’s mercies are new every morning. Lamentations 3:2

So, my friend, take this moment, and ask God to give you a redemptive reset of your own. He says ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be open to you.

God bless,

Teresa
