Hello Altered Stories Family,
As we enter into this Thanksgiving week, I encourage you to take time to reflect on what you are thankful for this time of year.
God’s Word calls us to, “Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18, NLT). This verse does not say for us to be thankful for all things.
This year has brought many high points and some definite lows, but God has proven Himself faithful. If you look back on what God has done in your life, you will find many things to be thankful for this year.
Here is a brief list for which I am thankful; I am thankful for my salvation in Christ, my relationship with God, my marriage, my family, all three of my cats, my ministry, my business, and this list could grow longer.
I am reminded to also thank God for the breath in my lungs, because no one knows how much time we have on this earth.
As you gather around the Thanksgiving table, take time to thank God for what He has done in your life.
