Hello, Altered Stories Family,
October is a month that is also known as Breast Cancer Awareness month. Now, I admit I’ve not had any encounter with breast cancer; however, I have had other types of cancer impact my family. My mom had ovarian cancer, and my mother-in-law had eye cancer.
A cancer diagnosis has such an impact and when one hears that you have cancer, you tend to think the worst. Yet, there is a cancer no one talks about, but it effects 100 percent of all humanity.
The Bible says that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Furthermore, in Romans, it says that the wage of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Unlike some cancers, which do not have a cure, there is a cure for our cancer of the soul. It’s called the blood of Christ.
The word of God says that Christ came lived the life we could not live and died a death we all deserved. He then rose again on the third day and will return to set up his Kingdom here on the Earth.
If you do not know Christ as Savior and Lord, it is as easy as A B C.
Admit that you are a sinner, in need of God’s grace.
Believe that Christ is who he says he is, that he lived the life you could not, and he died and rose again on the third day.
Confess him as Savior and Lord.
If you do this, congrats, you are a child of God.
If you are a believer, then ask whether you have some sins you are letting linger that you need to repent from.
I hope this helps,
God Bless,
Teresa
