There you have it: my Bible verse for 2019! Woohoo! Fanfare! (or at least a little whistle).
When precious insta friend @mischelle_s_gottsch asked me to share my Bible verse for the New Year, I said sure. Then I promptly got sidetracked by worries and distractions.
Geesh! This Type A Lady needs some of God’s basic training!
Well, God’s given me my marching orders: 1John 4:18 – my verse, poised to pull me out of my fearful funk!
There is no fear in God’s perfect LOVE!
This year I want to tackle each day like God’s warrior maiden: FEARLESS!
I don’t want to limp though life like some timid victim any more!
God’s got a great adventure for me.
No matter what the day may bring, I should tackle it with the bold, unfettered joy and strength God’s given me.
I may have a divine appointment at Dollar General, an opportunity at the office, a mission at my meeting, or a sacred journey in the junk store.
I don’t have to climb Kilamanjaro to get caught up in the adrenaline and excitement of a God Adventure!
I can be fearless no matter what I’m doing cause God’s got this!
– All this fearless adventure talk makes me want to dig deeper to see what God’s Word says about fear.
