The Bible tells us to train up a child in the way he should go…..Proverbs 22:6. I have a 22 year old, a 20 year old, two 15-year-olds and now a foster daughter who is 7. I feel like I missed the boat many times when I was young, so I long for my children to know truth so they can overcome the lies of the enemy. I want them to speak life into their circumstances. I want them to reach the promised land and receive His blessings with open arms. Unlike myself, who believed the lies, who stressed and worried, and fell into dark pits of sickness and confusion and frustration.
Can all this be avoided if they know HE is the way, the truth and the life? I know I still have a lot to learn but oh how I wish I knew His promises sooner, I wish I knew how to stand on His Word, and I wish I knew how to believe even when I did not see. As the song goes, fear and doubts can’t stay long when He is with me! He is the Way, the Truth and the Life! Our God is bigger than our circumstances, our problems are beneath us, we are victorious, we are loved, we are favored, His mercies are new every day! There is HOPE! My dear friends, what is faith? It says in Hebrews 11:1-2 that Fatih is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Believing even when it makes no sense to believe. Do you believe the lies of the world over God’s word? Oh how I want to shout NO! Hear my heart, NO! I wrote my book, “Getting It To Stick,” to help our teens Hear His loving voice cry out, “NO, hear me, trust me and watch… watch what happens when you listen to my voice.” I was told that this book has helped the whole family. As adults we still worry, we still fear, we still live in doubt. So grab one today and stand on truth no matter what comes your way!
