Hello Altered Stories Family,
This Sunday will be Mother’s Day. While many will have a good time with family, for many this day is hard due to the loss of their mother, or the loss of a child.
This is something that many deal with.
The pain of the loss of a Mother or child can impact for years. I know the loss very well, having lost my mom over 13 years ago.
I want to offer hope if you wrestle with the pain even now. Yes it still hurts, yes you will be reminded of your loved one, but God is with you even in that pain. He lost a son as well, so he knows the pain and grief that comes this type of loss. God tells us in Isaiah 66:13, “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.” Keep this in mind, as you are reminded of your loved one this weekend.
For those who haven’t lost someone, give those you know who have an extra hug and tell them you love them.
