Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,
I want to take a moment to talk about something that I’m sure you may have heard if you’ve been around the faith awhile.
In Lamentations 3:22-23 it says, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”
This is one of those scriptures that gets tossed out there once in a while. Of course, we nod our heads in agreement, but my question is this, do we believe that? Do we actually believe that we can have a fresh start, a new beginning every single morning? If we did, how would that change our faith?
I don’t write this from a place of complete understanding, this is more the place of, I’m being worked on in this area.
You see, in the process of writing my book “Protected”, a story of survival faith and redemption, I’ve had to confront a lot of skeletons from my past. Many, I would much rather keep buried under lock and key. Yet God, has worked with me to shine a light on those areas he wants to give a fresh start in.
How about you? How has God spoken into your story, or have you let him?
I won’t pretend that starting down that road is easy, it is not. The truth is, that it can be a hard rough road of healing. However, I am finding that it is worth it.
If you have a story that you need him to help you share, then I suggest you bring it to him. Altered Stories Ministry is all about sharing God stories, so that women never feel alone. I shared mine on the latest Altered Stories Show podcast episode and I experienced more healing as I shared. I encourage you to take some time and listen to the stories on the podcast and ask God how you might step in to telling your own story.
God bless,
Teresa
