In this Episode, I interview special guest, Karen Whiting. Karen is an author of 30 plus books. She has served as a contributing writer for Focus on the Family’s parenting magazine and writes for families at Crosswalk.com. She is a widow, mom of 5, traveler, speaks for women’s groups, retreats, schools, and at Mother-Daughter events. In our authentic conversation, Karen shares her inspiring and faith building God story as a survivor of a major Miami hurricane and other natural disasters. She also shares how God used her in her circumstances to minister to her children, neighbors and others in her community. In addition, she shares her story of how Jesus spoke to her and guided her steps as a survivor to encourage others who encounter unexpected crisis in their lives.
