Bio

Marie Chapian has 40 years experience in the professional counseling field as psychotherapist, and founded The Christian Center for Counseling and Fitness, a center providing fitness classes, personal counseling and round the clock prayer. She has written extensively on psychological issues such as parenting the difficult child, grief and loss, and chronic anxiety. Her work has taken her around the world as speaker, teacher, and pioneer in cognitive restructuring. Her books have won numerous awards and accolades throughout the years, and today continue earning awards with the 2023 Bronze Medal Award from EBA for her book, “Walking With Jesus” (Broadstreet Publishers). In 2015 she earned a degree in studio art and today combines writing books along with illustrating and painting. She continues her counseling practice as Spiritual Director and Certified Christian Life Coach. For the last 15 years, she has grown deeper into the contemplative Christian walk and is the co-founder and voice of the popular podcast, Quiet Prayer Christian Meditation.
