In This Episode:

  • Melissa is a wife to her best friend, a momma to three incredible teenagers and a lover and follower of Jesus. Some of her greatest loves are serving Jesus, leading worship, loving and being with her family, and loving people.
  • Worship is definitely a sacred pathway. Her favorite worship song right now is Always There by Natalie Grant.
  • When we share our stories of what happened, what we have done, and what God did, it helps others not feel so alone and then they are empowered to continue to step forward to Christ maybe for the first time and it gives them hope. Our testimonies are powerful and life-changing.
  • Melissa shares her “This is My Story, This is My Song” God Story. She is on a mission to set people free from guilt and shame.
  • David knew that he had to give God his broken heart. So the moment he gave God his heart he was instantly forgiven.
  • Just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it isn’t His will. God will put us in those places where we are crushed and broken so that we can be refined.
  • You have nothing to be afraid of. The enemy is afraid of you and wants to silence you.
  • Following Jesus is not usually ever comfortable. We are to die to our flesh.
  • He is faithful. Man can’t screw up his plans. He uses it all for the good of those who love him according to his purpose.
  • Do it afraid. He is with you. If he has called you into it there is nothing that can stop him.
