Hello, Altered Stories Family,
This past weekend, we celebrated Mother’s Day.
I’d like to take a moment to highlight all the mothers who might read this, and those who this day wasn’t the best. Maybe, you are still grieving because you’ve lost your mom or maybe you are a mom who lost your child through sickness, abortion, or any number of things.
If this day was a struggle for you, know that we have someone who knows. Our Lord grieves with us, and he will meet us in our time of need.
During church this past Sunday, we had an altar call for those who had needs, or issues and we could come and pray. I can tell you that I went up and cried out to him with some issues. The Lord didn’t answer, but he was close to me. I felt him as strong as ever.
I want to tell you, that if you call on the Lord, He will come to you. He is closer than your next breath, and no matter what you are facing, he will be there.
For you moms who do the work of raising a child, know that the Lord sees your work, and he knows the joys and the difficulties of being a mother. So, don’t be afraid to take your concerns to him because he will listen.
In 1 Peter 5:7 the word says, “cast your cares on the Lord, because he cares for you.”
Please take some time to have a talk with the Lord, because he is always listening. Who knows, you might just find peace in the midst of your struggle.
God bless,
Teresa
