Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,

We are headed back into the school year. Perhaps, you are a parent getting your kids ready for the school season or maybe you are a teacher who is getting back in the swing of teaching classes. Maybe, you are a college student getting ready for the next semester.

Whatever your season of life, remember that you are just running the next leg of your race. You may have a good year, or you may have a harder year, either way the Bible says in Hebrews 12:1-2 to run our race with perseverance.

I’ve never been much of a runner myself, but we are told that this thing called faith is very much a race. I know that when we come to the end, I don’t want to be the one in last place. I want to be one making Jesus our King smile.

I hope this is a good reminder for you.
