Hello Altered Stories Family,
Earlier this month we celebrated the Rosha Hashanah, otherwise known as the Jewish New Year. It is a time of reflection over the events of this past year and looking forward to the year ahead with great anticipation of positive change.
Change can be a tough pill to swallow, whether it be the loss of a relationship or a life season that you are adjusting to. For example, God brought to mind that there are still some things around my Mom’s passing that I have to work through, even though she passed away twelve years ago.
There also have been times in my life when God had removed some friendships. I didn’t realize that these friendships were only meant to be for a season, so I made the mistake of trying to hang on to them.
Do you sense a change in your own life as we approach the Fall season where temperatures and leaves are changing? Perhaps it is a change in your work or your home. Ask God to help you navigate this change and give you the grace to walk in faith in the midst of it. The word of God says that there is a time for every season under the sun.
Remember that nothing takes our Lord by surprise.
