In this Episode, I interview Kingdom Rockstar guest, Serena Dyksen. Serena lives in Indiana and is an author, speaker and Founder of She Found His Grace Abortion Recovery ministry. She is married to her high school sweetheart and is a mother of 4 children, two on earth and two in heaven. In our authentic conversation, Serena shares her powerful and redemptive grace-filled God story of her abortion recovery that began when she was raped at the age of 13, which resulted in her having an abortion. She also shares how God brought people into her life to support her as she experienced an unplanned pregnancy at 16, a young marriage and challenges with drugs and alcohol. She shares how God used the movie, “Unplanned” to open her eyes to the trauma and violence of abortion to help her heal, which led to her seeking out counseling to walk in freedom to move forward in her calling of helping men and women through abortion recovery. In addition, Serena shares ministering and comforting words to those who may be suffering from trauma, shame and guilt from past abortion/s.

There is so much power in our testimony. If we stop looking at what we’ve done and start looking at what was already done on the cross for us, there is so much freedom.
Serena shares her “Grace and Freedom From Abortion” God Story.
Her story begins when she was sexual assault at the age of thirteen years old which resulted in an unplanned pregnancy.
The day she got an abortion changed their lives forever. It was so traumatizing for their whole family.
When she was sixteen she ended up pregnant again. Serena and her boyfriend chose life with lots of support.
At the age of 23, Serena had a miscarriage and it rocked her world. Life started going sideways for them.
God saw her at her worst and was waiting for her to come back to him. Her husband welcomed her back and they began their healing process.
She went to the movie, “Unplanned” with a friend and she knew that God was asking her to tell her story and get help through abortion recovery.
When men and women share their testimonies of abortion regret and healing, abortion-minded women hear their stories and they are 85% more likely to choose life.
There are 60 million babies aborted so we have a lot of walking wounded and healing that needs to take place.
Jesus died on the cross so we don’t have to forgive ourselves because that is why he went there.
God wants to use our testimonies.

We all fall short of the glory of the Lord but we are saved by his grace.
When you are unforgiving and bitter it is actually poison to you.
