In our authentic conversation, Sherrie and I chat openly about her struggle of being in a abusive former Christian marriage. Sherrie also shares her transformational God story of how God in his amazing and loving way helped her through her difficult abusive circumstances, healed her emotionally and gave her the strength to leave her abuser to move forward into her counseling ministry and her future calling. Today, Sherrie has her Doctorate in Theology and is a licensed professional counselor, a certified clinical trauma specialist and a national certified counselor. She has a private practice in Shawnee, KS. Sherrie also has a new TV show airing on Roku, on the Solwin network called “Born to Thrive” that airs on Thursday evenings 7:00 CST. She is also a Christian wife to Tony, mom of three sons and one stepson.
Sherrie is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in Shawnee, Kansas.
Sherrie has had the opportunity to speak at several Christian women’s conferences and seminars. She desires to see God’s people experience healing–spiritually, emotionally and physically. Sherrie started a nonprofit in 2016 with the purpose of meeting the various needs of those in her community.
