In this Episode, I interview special guest, Susan McCeldry. Susan is an author, speaker, licensed cosmetologist, Bible Study leader, wife, Mom and Grandma. In our authentic conversation, Susan shares her “From Psychic to Christian” God story about how God rescued her from the chains of evil after dabbling in the occult and naively thinking what she was doing was helping others. She also shares ministering words to those who are trying to break free from involvement in the occult and offers words of caution to those who are considering getting involved. When we share our stories, especially when we are very transparent they help us connect with others. We also share our stories to share the gospel and spread God’s word as far as we can.
Susan shares her “From Psychic to Christian” God Story.
In 2000 there were things going on with her family and she started having life-changing dreams. These dreams and looking for answers brought her to church. She didn’t get the answers she was looking for so she started dabbling in the psychic world.
In 2009 they lost both of their incomes overnight when they had to close their business and faced many changes and challenges.
She shares her experiences in the psychic world and the final straw that made her realize it wasn’t her and she loved God.
Her entire family and children came to the house to help her at 4 AM and she was taken to the hospital in the mental ward. She found herself calling out to God to help her.
God allowed her to see all the lies the devil had been telling her and that broke the control over her. On the third day of her stay, her mind began to clear and her rational thinking started to come back.
There are so many innocent ways to get drawn into the psychic world. You started getting dependent on your horoscope instead of being dependent upon God and His word.
One of the tricks of the devil is to keep us from turning to God and thinking that God forgives the way people forgive.
Knowing what God says and having faith in Christ is so important.
Susan’s book Heaven’s Joy has two parts. Part one is her story and part two is what it was like when she came home from the hospital.
