John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Hello, Altered Stories Family,

This Christmas season of celebrations and looking to God, whether you observe Christmas, or Hanukkah, is a season of acknowledging the light that has come into the world.

You see, now more than ever we are seeing a darkness permeate our nation and even the globe, but our God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is also the God that lives inside each and every one of us.

Our Lord even spoke to this in John 3:19 when he said that light has come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light.

So, when you gather to celebrate with your family, remember the joy that we have is because a light, a wonderful soul saving light, came into the world to live a life that we could not live.  He died a death we all deserved and was raised from the dead to intercede on our behalf.

He started this journey as a small little baby and one day he will return as a lion to put an end to all darkness once and for all.

If you are reading this, and you don’t know this light, then today is a wonderful day to get to know him.

It’s as simple as A B C

Admit that you are a Sinner, in need of the grace and forgiveness of God.

Believe that Yeshua is who he says he is, fully God, and fully man.

Confess him as Lord and master of your life, now and forever.

If you do this, then the Bible says that you are saved, and that all of Heaven rejoices at this.

If you are a believer, consider how God’s light has changed your future, and how you are to reflect him, in a world that is growing darker and darker by the day.

God bless,

Teresa
