Hello, Altered Stories Family,
Have you ever had a cat just come up to you in a loveable mood? Let me tell you, there is truly nothing like it. Now, I know a good number of you my readers, might be dog lovers, and that’s fine,
However, I was reminded how friendly, persistent, and loving a cat can be last night, and it got me to thinking.
Take a cat, in their most friendly, purring, wanting pets now, lovable state, multiply that a few million bazillion times, and you might, come close to scratching the surface of how much God loves us. In fact, the Bible says that God’s love can’t be compared with anything else, though we might try.
And as I think of love and that Altered Stories Ministry just celebrated their 4-year Anniversary, I can’t think of another ministry that truly exhibits God’s love, then this ministry and their podcast show, and everything that goes with it. The God stories that are shared, truly reveal how much the Lord loves us, and how we can share his love with others.
It doesn’t matter where you have been, or what you have done, or how dark things have been for you, The love of the Lord can break through that darkness, and set you free.
However, you must choose it. You have to want to be set free.
If you are not a Christian, it’s as simple as A. B. C.
Admit
Admit that you are a Sinner, in need of God!
Believe
Believe that Jesus is who the Bible says he is, God and man, that he lived a perfect life, and died on the cross, for your Sin, rose again on the third day.
Confess
Confess the Lord Jesus as Lord, of your life, now and forever. Do this and start to walk the path that God has for you.
If you are a believer, but things have gone a bit sidewise, there is hope for you as well. God hasn’t forgotten you. Maybe, you’ve let the enemy get some strongholds. it’s time to break those and return to what you know to be true. I would take a read of Ephesians 6, and pray that as a prayer, putting on the armor every day. I would renounce any hold the enemy has on your life, confess your Sin, and ask God to fill you with his love once more.
