Hello, Altered Stories Ministry Family,
We are in the Easter season and approaching Passover. The Passover is a time where we remember the exodus and how Moses had to encounter Pharaoh telling him to let God’s people go.
What is often missed, is the shadows to what Christ did for us by his death on the cross.
Many people believe that the Passover happened, and it was a singular event. It is when God’s people got free time to move on. However, in Hebrew thought, these sorts of events happen in cycles.
So, what does this mean for you if you are reading this?
The Bible tells us that whomever the Son sets free, is free indeed. John 8:33
Yet often times we have our own Egypt. Maybe, it’s the past or maybe it’s areas of sin or maybe it’s wounds that you are still fighting with?
If the Son has set you free and you have places in your life that are still stuck in Egypt, maybe it’s time to ask God to apply the blood of Christ to your heart and to set you free?
I won’t say that getting rid of these things is easy. It could require some inner healing.
Yes, we all have things that bring torment or are our task masters, but if you follow Christ then you don’t have to be given over to these things anymore.
This Easter season I encourage you to read the Passover story and ask God what he would like to set you free from.
God bless,
Teresa
