John 8:12

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”

Hello, Altered Stories Family,

This past weekend, I attended a funeral/life celebration for my husband’s brother-in-law. It was held at a military base, as he served for eight years in the United States Army.

The ceremony was excellent and moving. During the service, the thought that struck me was the number of lives he effected in various ways. For example, he frequently joked around and was the person to give you a gag-gift at Christmas. He freely shared of his knowledge of expertise to others. He loved this country.

For many others, he adopted them as family and was willing to help in whatever way possible.

As the day ended, I asked myself this question, “How has my life impacted others?” “Did I shine the light of Christ vividly and valiantly?” “Did I show them the love of the Lord, in whom I love?” “When I am dead and gone, what will be said of me?”

Now I ask you, my friend, “What will be said of you? Whether you know Christ or not, your life will leave an incredible mark. Only you decide what kind of impact, whether negative or positive, you will have on the lives of others and the legacy you leave.

Be the best person you can by shining Christ’s light vibrantly and His love graciously to everyone around you.

Endeavor to leave your indelible mark for Christ on pages of human history.  Matthew 5:16 NLT “In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your Heavenly Father.”

God bless,

Teresa
