…Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
Lamentations 3:22-23

Hello, Altered Stories Family,

Of late, the Lord has been bringing a few questions to my mind and using events to call me out of some areas, and into new levels of freedom.

With this in mind, I’d like to ask you a couple of questions.

First, do you know what you are being called into?

Everyone who is a believer is called to spread the good news of the Kingdom. However, how are you specifically called to do so?

Are you called to teach the next generation, or maybe, your call is to Women’s ministry, or maybe you are called in to another form of ministry that is not specifically church related.

Second, what is preventing you from stepping into your calling?

Often, we have things that hinder us from walking in the calling that God has for us. Everything from past traumas to mindset issues, things that our enemy uses to tell us lies, like who are you to do this thing, you are no good, you can’t reach anyone, or other such lies.

So, how do you counter these things? For every lie, speak the truth to it. Ask God to reveal the hurt places that prevent you from doing what he has called you to do. No, this will not cure itself overnight, but you will walk into new levels of freedom, as you take these steps.

The Bible says that we are called to good works that have been preordained for us to do. These works are not for salvation, but so that we can do the work of God’s kingdom.  Ephesians 2:10.

It also says that we will know the truth, and the truth will set us free. As we walk into greater levels of freedom, we also learn more of God’s truth.

So, take some time, to sit before the Lord, and ask him, what is my calling, if you don’t know it already, and then, ask him what is keeping me from that calling.

Trust me, he will answer you.

God bless,

Teresa
