For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.  Jeremiah 29:11

Hello Altered Stories Family,

As of late, I have read a lot of Science Fiction.  One of the authors I am reading is a man, who not only is good at telling a good story, but he also questions the idea of faith and God and all the things around that. I do not know if he is a believer, but he brings to light something that every human does wrestle with.

The Bible says that God has written eternity in every human heart. This is proven every day by how we act with others, how we think, and how we love those we most care about.  Yeshua Jesus said that there is no greater love than that we would lay down our life for another.

Yet, while we express love and affection for our loved ones, have we expressed our love for the one who first loved and gave himself for us?

I am not saying that we should not wrestle with God and ask questions of our faith, but let us remember in doing so that God is holy, and he is the very definition of love.

He does not mind us coming and asking why and he will in time give us an answer. No, not always the answer that we want, but he will answer.

I found this to be most true in founding the Unresolved Life podcast.  It was through that answer that I began to wrestle with my faith, bring this to the mic and through my podcasting God provided my rescue.

No matter what, remember that God loves you and he is always with you.

I hope this helps.

God Bless,

Teresa
